GOLF SHOP NEWSLETTER- FEBRUARY 2011

We are very excited about the 2011 golf season. The winter has been very cold and wet so far but remember Spring is only eight weeks away. The 2011 Tournament Schedule is complete through May. The remaining part of the Schedule will be published the middle of February. Please note these dates on your calendar and plan to participate in as many events as possible. The Men’s Member-Guest will be contested May27th-29th.

The Tournament Schedule kicks off with the Super Bowl Mixer on Sunday, February 6^th. The entry fee is $10.00 per person with the format being Captains Choice. The starting time is 1pm with the game kicking off at approximately 6:15pm.

We hope that everyone is ready to shake off the rust and are excited to get back onto the course. Group instruction for Ladies is being offered on Saturday afternoon beginning on February 5^th at 2:00pm. Each session will last one hour with the fundamentals of the game being the foundation of instruction. The class will go for six weeks at a cost of $15.00 per person for each session attended. Please call the Golf Shop to sign up. Group Instruction for Men will begin at 3:15pm. Cost and class length are the same as the Ladies sessions.

In the past few months, we have several members whom have been afflicted with various ailments and illnesses. We wish everyone a speedy recovery and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. The Golf Staff looks forward to seeing each of you out on the course in a short time.
