Cross Creek Plantation’s Facilities Committee, serving on the Transition Advisory Team, and Cross Creek Development have worked together in searching for a Food and Beverage Manager and are proud to announce the search is complete.  Effective March 1, 2010 please welcome Jim Domanico as Food and Beverage Manager overseeing our Clubhouse.

Jim comes to us with over 25 years of professional experience in the restaurant industry.  For the last eleven years, he was Director of Food Service for Clemson University Outdoor Laboratory.  He was responsible for all supervision of staff, scheduling, training, menu planning, ordering and delivering high quality dining and event experiences.  His goal has always been to provide a memorable meal at reasonable prices and satisfy his clientele.  When he saw that CCP was looking for a Food and Beverage Manager, he immediately knew this was his opportunity to move forward with his goal of operating a fine dining facility in a Country Club atmosphere.  He looks forward to getting to know our members, working with our staff and developing menus that will be pleasing to the eye and pallet.

Jim also worked as Executive Chef at Keowee Key County Club and when he was needed to act as interim general manager, he rose to the occasion and promoted special events through golf and dining that kept revenue on track.

He attended Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Providence RI.  He began his career as Sous Chef, worked his way to Manager/Chef and on to owner and head chef at his own restaurant, Domanico’s in Wantagh, NY.

He has lived in Seneca for 14 years; is married to Faith Domanico who is a nurse in the Greenville Hospital system in Simpsonville and between them, have four sons.  They like to hike, cook at home and hope to play some golf.

Please welcome Jim!

A personal note from Jim Domanico

I would like to say that I am thrilled to be a part of the CCP family. I am looking forward to a long and prosperous venture. My office door is always open, and would love to hear from the community. So please stop by the club; say hello and enjoy a meal or a drink.
